Nuit Blanche, Paris, 2011
Dimensions : 16 m x 35 m x 35 m
The installation takes possession of Madeleine underground station and transforms it into a huge curve luminescent screen.
More inspired by light machines than projectors, it creates ever changing ambiances with elementary epiphanies inspired by nature and urban life.
Thus, the artworks proposes a sensitive and dynamic approach of the transitory space in this atrium.
Immersed in this device, the viewers walk in an evolutive atmosphere, their perception of the artwork being at the crossroads of their itinerary and the machine’s manifestations.
Produced by the City of Paris, in partnership with RATP (Paris Public Transportation Company).
